It is often said that camp changes lives! Camp ministry does so as a two-fold opportunity. The first opportunity is for the staff who come to work. Often a first job, being a member of a camp staff allows a young adult to develop leadership skills and often leads to a lifetime of desire to serve others. At camp, staff members learn to build relationships and work as a team member, all while learning about themselves.

The second opportunity is to the campers. Camp gives children and teens a wonderful escape from the everyday of their life. At camp, you leave home—maybe for the first time—and venture into new adventures and environments. They learn to do hard things and conquer fears.

A camper makes new friends and if the ministry is done right, they are introduced to the best friend they will ever have: Jesus. Camp does changes lives for eternity!
