“I have a lot of negative thoughts about my self-worth. How do I change my thought patterns like what the Bible says?”

Most of us experience negative thoughts about ourselves at some point and the way to change this pattern is by knowing who we are in Christ. God created each of us in His image and for His glory. Knowing God’s Word and filling our thoughts with His thoughts help us to change the negative patterns. Psalm 139:13-14 writes, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” God created us and knows us deeply, and we know God’s creation is wonderful. When negative thoughts enter our minds, we can remind ourselves that we are fearfully and wonderfully created by the almighty God and every part of who we are is wonderful.
