Can science and faith co-exist with each other? And how?

I believe science and faith can not only co-exist, but complement one another! Faith tells us who created the world and why it matters; science helps us discover the remarkable ways God’s creation works. As Christians, we never need to fear honest scientific inquiry because all truth ultimately belongs to God. Throughout history, many scientists (Galileo, Kepler, Pascal to name a few) have viewed their work as part of their calling and a way of worshiping the Creator.

Scientific discoveries often increase my own sense of wonder and stir me to adoration. The more we learn about the universe, the more reasons we have to echo the psalmist’s praise in Psalm 8:1 (NIV): “How majestic is Your name in all the earth!” Science can answer many questions about the world around us, while faith addresses the deeper questions of meaning, purpose, and hope. Together they encourage humility, curiosity, and gratitude. When approached correctly, science can become another pathway that leads us to worship God.
