I knew at a young age I was called to ministry. During my high school and college years, I got fully immersed in youth ministry within The Salvation Army. After 20 years of youth ministry, being married with two children, we felt unsettled in our lives. We realized God was calling us to more. After much prayer, and long conversations with friends we respect who are officers, we asked our Divisional Youth Secretary (DYS) about the process. We felt complete peace about it for the first time in a while. We knew that the Lord would guide us through all the changes ahead, and He did!
