Scarves

This year, Others launched a unique collection of scarves made by men and women in Bangladesh recruited through Salvation Army programs to provide for their families. These scarves were handcrafted by artisans in Bangladesh and designed by NY-based Fashion Illustrator and Designer Lily Qian.

Each scarf includes elements of handloom, hand-embroidery and/or hand-painting to create a unique fashion accessory that comes with a story of transformation. Each artisan is paid a fair wage for their work, meaning food is on the table, children are in school, and people can plan for the future.
