How do I stop feeling like I don’t measure up to other people’s expectations of me?

The expectations of others can be hard to meet and often leave you feeling depleted. It’s important to focus on our audience of One!

Ask yourself, does this please God or am I just trying to please others? When I focus on Him and what He wants, I can be relieved of the need to match the unrealistic expectations of others.

What a relief that I can say, “Lord, please help me know what to do and keep transforming me the way YOU want me to be—not how others want me to be. Thanks, Lord, for being my confidence and strength!”
