It seems obvious, but you don’t realize the first things you will need when you are moving are … STORAGE BINS! You need bins and boxes of all sizes and made of a material that won’t easily break. Although it may seem like a simple task, estimating the correct number of boxes you will need for your move can be complicated and can also lead to errors. On one hand, you don’t want to waste money buying too many boxes, but on the other hand, you don’t want to waste extra time running back and forth to the store to buy more boxes. 

I decided to go to a Salvation Army Thrift Store to see if they had any storage bins available. And to my surprise, they did! They had two large black plastic storage trunks with locks and one large transparent bin. What I liked the most is that one of the black storage trunks was given to me for free because it was a bit old. Everything was cheaper than going to department stores and almost all my clothes fit in those three containers!
