I have no idea how to pray. How do I cultivate a prayer life?

If the idea of prayer is overwhelming for you, fear not! Prayer is a beautiful opportunity for us to connect with God one-on-one. You don’t need to do anything other than let your guard down and let Him in. He wants us just the way we are. You can cultivate a prayer life by dedicating time to connect with the Lord each day, but also by letting Him be part of your consciousness. Connection is everything. When something good or difficult happens in the day, take a moment to just send that thought to the One who cares for you.

When people talk about God’s will, what does that mean? Does God have a plan for my life?

God absolutely knows you! It’s been said that 80 percent of God’s will for us, we already know. That 80 percent is to be saved, live a holy life and to tell others how to be saved. The trick is the other 20 percent. What excites you? What passions do you have? God gave them to you for a reason. Step out in these areas while constantly talking to Him in prayer and He’ll show you the way.
