Are you an aspiring writer or journalist? Do you have a desire to write for a national publication? And earn some extra cash while doing so?

Peer Magazine is looking for a Remix writer who is passionate about thrifting, unisex fashion and decorating tips, and The Salvation Army.

Submit the following to [email protected] by May 31, 2024:

• 200-word writing sample about a fashion or decorating topic you care about (think about your love for jean jackets, how to dress for college gameday, upcycling thrifted items, styling summer sandals, etc.).
• An engaging and informative vertical video (30-90 seconds) on your topic. Get creative! Speaking on your chosen topic, video concepts can be hauls, thrift with me, tips for thrifting and finding affordable items, and DIY transformations. We want to hear your passion for fashion and decorating.   

Pay is $0.35/word, $50 for photography, and $100 for one video. You will be required to write a 200-word article, snap photos of the items, and produce one short-form video per month through December 2024, adhering to hard deadlines. After December, you will have the opportunity to write more.
