I always wanted to try it, but never did because I was afraid of ruining my clothes. But finally, I just had to go to a Salvation Army thrift store and get some pants, a shirt or sweatshirt to do this so that I wouldn’t potentially ruin something I already owned.

Unfortunately, ripped jeans can cost you more than unripped jeans—but not for long. There are few techniques that I’ve used to maintain my distressed denim habit.
