Ask an Officer
What Does It Mean to Trust in God’s Plan?
Ask an officer anything. An officer in The Salvation Army is an ordained minister of Christian faith.
What does it mean to trust in God’s plan?
There is a simple and complicated answer to this question. I simply trust that God does have a plan for me. I am not out here on my own with nothing to guide me. God knows me and has a plan for my life. From a more complicated perspective, God knows me individually and has a plan for my life uniquely. In all of the vast universe, and with all of God’s creation and people, He makes time for me and thinks about me. I can trust that He has planned for everything that I am and will be and knows what is best for me. I make a lot of mistakes and probably push His plan to the limit, but He still has time, grace and space for me.
