To live a Christ-centered life is an amazing opportunity that God has given to us as believers. It all starts with our coming to salvation, or a moment that each believer realizes that they are a sinner and in need of a Savior. We declare with our mouth and believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead, where we are then given the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwells within us, nudging and guiding us to live each day in a manner that glorifies God, or a Christ-centered life. We try each day to show the love, compassion and most of all, grace to others as God has shown to us. We wake up each day and ask for His help to be transformed more and more into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. Not in physical appearance, but in word, thought and deed. There are some days that we fall short, and we go back before God, before His throne of grace, and lay down our shortcomings, our sins, our human nature. Overall, it is a daily task that is only doable through the grace that God provides us on a daily basis.
