Depending on God, to me, means fully relying on Him even when I don’t understand or agree with His plan for my life. Relying on God is giving Him complete control of every aspect of my life: my decisions, my family, my finances, my everything. I am not saying that this is an easy thing to do or that I get it right all the time, but the more I rely on Him, the more my life falls in line with His plans and the better His vision for me is seen. 

I dive deeper into relationship with God by spending time with Him daily through devotional, prayer and worship time so that my thoughts and actions are on Him always, which allows me to give over control to Him. If I did not depend on God, I would be a broken person and lost in this world. I am so thankful that God has such grace and loves me so much that He wants me to depend on Him in everything but allows me the freedom to choose whether I want to. For me, the choice is clear: I choose to depend on Him.
