You can confess. Thanksgiving is the first time you can bring out your favorite winter outfit. But, we need it to be comfortable because we need some room to eat! So, what better place than the thrift store to find a stretchy and warm, yet cute sweater for the Thanksgiving holiday. 

As I walked through the aisles of the Thrift Store, I noticed turtlenecks are everywhere! They are back as a trend! Who would have thought that they would be back? Lucky for us, people gave theirs away a long time ago and now they are ours to wear. 

When shopping for a good turtleneck, go in open-minded with no color scheme. When you have no agenda, you can find better pieces because you are not limiting yourself. Find the sweater first, then you can plan the rest of the outfit. Turtlenecks go perfect with a pair of mom jeans; it really brings you back in time (and mom jeans are good for eating). 

Turtlenecks are totally back for men as well. You can make a turtleneck look sleek and cool with the right pair of khakis or dark jeans to dress up for dinner! 

Turtlenecks really draw attention to the face, so my biggest tip is pairing it with a bold earring or headband to really make it all pop! Now, go eat some turkey!
