Just when you think it is time to relax and enjoy the summer days, you get hit with all of the invites. Summer can be a busy season for graduation parties, baby showers, weddings, holiday parties and so much more. Especially since we have been safely at home for so long, we want to come out with a new outfit! The last thing you need is to be spending big money every time you have a fun event to go to.

The first section I head to in the thrift store is usually the dress section. I like to be creative when finding a dress, and the thrift store gives me the ability to do this. I look for plain dresses that I can add some heels and jewelry to for a wedding, and then, for the same dress, maybe a pair of tennis shoes for a Fourth of July party or graduation party. The thrift stores are full of colorful tops with fun patterns that go perfect with a pair of blue jeans and sandals. For guys, there are endless fun T-Shirts to choose from or even a cool jacket to go over a button-up for a wedding. Thrift stores have so many button-up shirts with crazy summer patterns for guys to throw on and go hang out with the guys at the beach or a bonfire at the lake. 

The nice thing about thrift stores is that they get donations year-round; people are donating things that may be out-of-season. This is to our benefit—we can find any color we want if we are looking hard. We could stock up in party wear in advance for any season!
