In today’s contemporary Christian music movement, you cannot mention praise and worship without it being connected in some way to Chris Tomlin! My friend Chris is responsible for the writing and recording of some of the biggest worship songs out there. From “How Great is Our God,” “Our God” and “Whom Shall I Fear,” to his cover of “Good Good Father,” Chris has been able to pin the words that our hearts are trying to say when worshiping the King! His vulnerable vocal delivery of these songs invites the listener to worship alongside him!

Chris has won 23 GMA Dove Awards and won a Grammy in 2012 for Best Contemporary Christian Album! This Texas native resides in Tennessee with his wife and daughters. His impact on the worship experience around the world is evident. As a worship leader myself, I have learned and grown through the influence of Chris’s music as a writer and worship leader.

This duo has been one of my favorites as of late! Their electronic-pop sound is like dessert for the ears! One of my personal favorites is a song called, “God Only Knows.” I have to say, I am a little biased to the version that features country legend, Dolly Parton! Go check it out! It’s captivating!

Big Daddy Weave is a contemporary Christian group that started making waves in the music scene in 2002. The band met in Alabama at college in the late 1990s and eventually signed with Fervent Records. Their latest single, “I Know,” is an intimate walk-through of experiencing hardships but also knowing that God is still good! If you need to be reminded of that, I suggest you give this song a listen!
