Both artists and admirers of art will appreciate this intersection of art and technology.

Rating: TV-G

Platform: Netflix

I’ve always enjoyed art. I don’t always understand it, but I can appreciate it nonetheless. It is such a vast and complicated world delivered in many different mediums; sketches, painting, photography, music and so much more provide outlets for artists and admirers alike to express or feel in completely unique ways. “Art & Tech” showcases various Japanese artists that use technology to create their pieces and the inspiration behind them. The show has something for everyone, whether it be wacky, surreal or just plain cool and the diverse creativity displayed is great to see.

We serve a creative God; we see His craftsmanship everywhere. In Scripture, God detailed what the Tabernacle, Temple and Ark of the Covenant should look like. Were they plain and simple? Not at all! He even had the best people available work on these projects. You may not be an artist. Maybe you don’t even like art. However, I challenge you to be a medium in which God can create life-changing art. It’s not always easy, but if God has chosen you to be His instrument, He will work in you and through you to accomplish His masterpiece.

The Proud House: Louder and Prouder

Rating: TV-14

Platform: Disney+

“The Proud House: Louder and Prouder” is a modern continuation of the 2000s series, “The Proud Family,” a wacky and semi-dysfunctional family with plenty of charm. While it can be funny, the modern setting and oddly suggestive material make this cartoon a bit uncomfortable to watch.

Brain Games: On the Road

Rating: TV-PG

Platform: Disney+

People around the country are challenged to a battle of the brains in “Brain Games: On the Road.” Different mind puzzles are presented to contestants with a small scientific explanation of different phenomena relevant to the challenges. Nothing too revolutionary, but it’s still a fun watch.
