I visited a Salvation Army thrift store to find unique items to decorate my new fireplace. My goal was to find items of various shapes and sizes that would create a uniform look. I love mixing styles, and I thought this would be a fun way to add character to my home.

As I browsed the shelves, I found seven eye-catching items. Each piece, from vases to candle holders, carried its own charm, and when I took these items home with me, I was excited to see how they would all come together. Although one of the items didn’t quite fit the look I was going for, it was fun to see what worked and what didn’t. Moving things around helped create the right vibe.

Despite that one piece that didn’t fit, the other six items looked amazing around the fireplace! These items transformed the space and added a cozy touch. Shopping at a Salvation Army thrift store was a great choice, not only for the unique finds but also for the affordability. It’s a wonderful option for anyone looking to decorate their home without breaking the bank.
