2. Buy them a coffee. 

For those you love, send them a gift card to their favorite coffee shop! Pay for the drink ordered by the next person in the drive-through line. 

3. Invite a new neighbor for lunch. 

Maybe someone just moved next door to your college dorm room, apartment or house. Turn to your “classroom neighbor,” or the person who sits next to you in class, and invite them to lunch. 

4. Buy someone flowers. 

Flowers can cost under $10 at any grocery store. Buy a bundle on your way home for your roommate, significant other or family member. A bundle of flowers can easily brighten someone’s day. 

5. Pick up their favorite candy bar. 

When at the grocery store, stop by the candy aisle and grab your roommate’s favorite candy bar. This simple act of kindness and consideration for your roommate can brighten their day and add a touch of sweetness!
