Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the best “Star Wars” game since “Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords.” The game is an RPG (roleplaying game) that plays very similar to “Dark Souls” and “Sekiro.” It is an original story that has been confirmed to be part of the new “Star Wars” Cannon by Disney. You play as a Jedi in hiding by the name of Cal. You will embark on a high-stakes quest of finding the truth behind an ancient civilization, taking up the torch of a fallen Jedi historian.

You begin the game in hiding and with some great timing, you are saved from certain death from the Inquisitors by another Jedi who has mysteriously cut herself off from the Force. The game delivers immensely on story and lore and if you are a lover of anything classic “Star Wars,” then you will love this game.

The game plays incredibly smooth for the action-adventure game it is. Imagine a “Prince of Persia,” “Assassins Creed” and “Sekiro” and then paint that in the “Star Wars” universe and you will get “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.” Puzzles are challenging and fun and revolve around the Force, which adds a fun layer of complexity. The Lightsaber feels as lethal as it should be, and the saber even has its own place in the story which is redeeming from the Last Jedi’s failure.

I find that the game does lack some customization options. I would expect in a single-player game that I would be getting immense customization options! This game lacks depth in that department and is its greatest detractor.

The game delivers in true George Lucas fashion on the plot of the game. Even though it does lack customization, it shines through with its unique use of combining gameplay elements from other genres and delivers a great experience. I give it 4.5 out of 5.
