My vanity needed a makeover. I opted to explore the treasures at a Salvation Army Thrift Store to see what unique items I could discover. Although I didn’t have a specific style in mind, I knew I wanted neutral and white colors to complement my bedroom. Here are a few tips for successful thrifting when it comes to home decor: Keep an open mind, explore various sections and envision how items can be repurposed. 

To my surprise, I found quite a few things: Plates to display perfumes and creams, a vase for showcasing pampas grass that I already had at home, two candle bases, a beautiful marble clock and a lovely lamp! Embrace the thrill of the hunt! Take your time while thrift shopping, since some of these gems were slightly hidden. Once I got home, I played around by placing things in different locations until I found the perfect arrangement. I’m really happy because these items added personality to my room. Don’t hesitate to mix and match items to create a look that reflects your style!
