Have you ever had a favorite movie that took over your life (posters, T-Shirts, watch parties)? In a sense, you worshiped that movie. God wants us to worship Him because what we worship shows our heart. In Deuteronomy 6:5 (NIV), it says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” By loving the Lord with ALL of that, you are worshiping Him; He is your everything. God is more important than a movie, He wants to us to realize that and put Him first in our life. We show God that He is first by worshiping Him.
