To the Christian Feeling Stuck in Their Faith
You’re not alone. Faith isn’t always a mountaintop moment. Sometimes it’s a quiet, confusing valley.Even the strongest believers hit dry seasons. David cried out (Psalm 86). Elijah hid (1 Kings 19:9-18). Thomas doubted (John 20:24-29). God didn’t leave them — and He hasn’t left you.
You don’t have to “feel it” to be faithful. Keep showing up. Keep praying. Keep seeking. Even when you don’t feel like it.
God sees you. Even when you wonder if He’s really there. He honors the quiet persistence.
3 Steps to Move Forward
- Change your rhythm. Try a new devotional or prayer walk.
- Talk to someone: a mentor, friend, or pastor.
- Rest. Sometimes your soul needs stillness, not striving. Take a break from your current spiritual routine.
Reflect
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”
James 4:8
Prayer
Lord, I feel distant from You. My heart is tired and weary. Help me to trust that You are still near, even when I can’t feel it. I ask that you stir up a hunger for Your Word and a desire to pay. Thank You for loving me through the silence. Amen.
