The Lovable Duo: Wallace and Gromit Are Back!
"Today, remember to thank God for who He is and trust Him to provide."Rating: PG | Platform: Netflix
After the brilliant invention of a remarkable robot gnome, Wallace believes that everything will be improved. However, when a fowl feathered fiend set on revenge and riches notices, nefarious happenings are bound to ensue. “Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl” is the latest film from Aardman Animations, an animation studio known for their fantastic claymation projects. I loved the visual style and subdued humor that was packed into the movie, perfectly emphasized through Gromit’s silent nature. While the film is a sequel, you don’t need to view the previous films beforehand.
A theme of overreliance on technology stood out. It’s apparent in our everyday lives that we use it for everything. There’s nothing wrong with using technology; however if we can no longer function without it, then we have a serious problem. As Christians, our sole reliance should be upon God. Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (ESV). Every Christian needs Him for everything: every breath we take, provisions for the day, guidance in our actions. Today, remember to thank God for who He is and trust Him to provide.

Mufasa: The Lion King
Rating: PG | Platform: Disney+
While I personally think that the 2019 CGI remake of “The Lion King” is one of the worst films ever made, I can happily say that “Mufasa” is infinitely better. It’s not perfect, with some weak plot and character points. It’s a flawed but overall decent production for anyone to enjoy.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Rating: PG | Platform: Theaters
After a mysterious and powerful hedgehog appears to wreak havoc, Sonic and friends must once again race to save the day. As someone who grew up playing “Sonic Adventure 2: Battle,” there are plenty of things about the film to smile about, even if the tone and pacing are inconsistent.
