Formed out of the sunshine state, Butta-P, Juan Love and K-Nuff make up the hip-hop trio Rhema Soul. Butta-P and Juan Love were actually a part of a rap group together prior to the birth of Rhema Soul. Butta-P met and fell in love with K-Nuff, and they got married. Sharing a love for music, they decided to form a group. They started making music in 2007, and soon after, signed a deal with Good City Music after releasing an album called “Worn Soles.” Later, they would release their second album called, “Dope Beats Good News.” The trio’s last three albums have had some chart success. One of my favorite songs is “Fly Away.” This song gives a raw look at how ugly life can be and how we are all in need of an escape from these trials. The chorus sings about wanting to be able to “fly away” from the troubles that we face. You get a taste of all three members’ flows on the track, and K-Nuff lends her singing chops to the hook of the song!

Austin French

Why God? It’s a question I believe most, if not all, believers have asked at some point. Austin French’s song “Why God?” is a creative arrangement of asking the questions that we don’t have answers for but having the understanding of why we need God. This song is brilliant and beautiful! Give it a listen!

Aaron Cole

Aaron Cole was the 2019 Dove Award winner for best new artist! This Christian hip-hop artist has been making a lot of waves despite only being 20 years old! Check out his most recent project “Not By Chance.” This album solidifies his gift and the fact that Gotee Records could have another big-time artist on the roster!
