Amy Poehler Hangs Out With Old and New Pals
“Each episode feels like a breath of fresh air.”You may know Amy Poehler from shows like “Parks and Recreation” or movies like “Inside Out 2,” but she’s recently rolled up a chair to a microphone to bring us her Golden-Globe winning podcast, “Good Hang with Amy Poehler.” In the studio, she chats with celebrities like they’re old friends (because many of them are) and swaps stories that leave you feeling encouraged, inspired, and entertained. Guests share their real-life experiences and how they got to where they are today. Each episode feels like a breath of fresh air. Poehler asks thought-provoking questions about the guests’ career journeys yet strives to make the interviews fun and casual. One of my favorite episodes is one with Tina Fey. Together, they reminisce on their enduring friendship.
While not a Christian podcast (the language is occasionally explicit), it isn’t a self-help podcast either. This show doesn’t set out to offer life advice. Instead, it is designed to make you laugh and feel like you’re hanging out with friends. It’s exactly what we all need: a space to laugh, relax, and connect.
