I Went Looking for Wall Art and Came Home With an Olive Tree
"Sometimes a room doesn’t need a makeover. It just needs one unexpected find to make the space feel a little more like home!"
You know those thrift store trips when you walk in without a real plan? Maybe you have one thing in mind, but most times, you’re just browsing to see what you can find. Sometimes, those are the trips you discover something you never knew you needed.
That’s one of my favorite things about thrifting. You might go in looking for wall art, a lamp, or something small, and instead find a piece that completely changes a corner of your home.
That’s exactly what happened to me.
I spotted an artificial olive tree that I immediately fell in love with. I wasn’t looking for a plant, but when I saw it, I could picture it in an empty corner of my room. So, naturally, the wall art was forgotten.
Once I brought it home and put it in the corner, the room felt warmer and cozier. There’s something about greenery that makes a space feel more inviting and finished.
Sometimes a room doesn’t need a makeover. It just needs one unexpected find to make the space feel a little more like home!
