I thrifted this over-the-shoulder, cherry-colored sweater with a detailed bow in the middle. It highlights the collarbone and elevates the neck and jawline. I want to show you that a red sweater is not just basic; it is very versatile.

Style 1: Elegant

To start, choose a versatile black skirt as your foundation. This could be made of leather or rippled polyester for a chic look. Since February can be quite cold, don’t hesitate to layer up with cozy leggings or thick black tights underneath the skirt for added warmth and style.

Next, put on your main statement piece — your sweater. Try tucking it into the skirt for a polished appearance or leaving it untucked for a more laid-back feel. To elevate your ensemble, consider adding knee-high boots, which not only provide additional warmth but also add a touch of sophistication.

Finish off your outfit with a tailored black trench coat for a timeless look and a pair of stylish sunglasses, and large silver or gold jewelry to infuse a touch of flair. This combination not only keeps you warm but also helps you stand out with confidence and style!

Style 2: Casual

Start with a pair of denim jeans, either a light wash for a more relaxed vibe or a darker denim for a sleeker look. A stylish belt can elevate this casual outfit while also serving a practical purpose. For added warmth and comfort, consider layering a pair of leggings underneath the jeans.

Next, grab your sweater. Add a trendy black or white button-up shirt. Instead of wearing it traditionally underneath your sweater, tie it casually around your waist to add an interesting layer to your ensemble.

When it comes to footwear, opt for stylish black or white sneakers. These will not only complement your outfit but also provide comfort for all-day wear. To finish your look, accessorize with a crossbody bag and a beanie. A beanie will not only keep you warm but will also contribute to the casual yet fashionable aesthetic you’re aiming for.
